The Indian Premier League has been confirmed this week. Different from the usual, IPL 2020 will be held from September 19 to November 10, making it the longest season of the league. However, IPL’s primary sponsor, Vivo, has pulled out from the league due to some tension between India and China.

Some heated speculations also revolve around several cricket leagues, including the Bangladesh Premier League. According to the Federation of International Cricketers’ Association (FICA), there had been some systematic breaches in cricket based on the Global Employment Report. In response to the said allegations, BCB released their statement to refute the allegations of FICA.

Meanwhile, some cricket matches and events are still being postponed amidst the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Among which are Australia’s T20I series against the West Indies and the Minor League Cricket which has been postponed to 2021.
